7th Heaven Show Credits

Dylan & Casey Boersma

Casey and Dylan are 3 years old. Although they've done a bit of work since they were 5 weeks old, 7th Heaven has been the biggest/longest running project for them to date. Their other work includes "Father of the Bride, Part 2" (they play newborn baby George). Also in their "earlier days" they played a lot of "abandoned baby" roles  for shows like "Diagnosis Murder" (episode title "Naked Babies"), "E.R." (episode title "Full Moon Saturday Night"), and "Baywatch" (episode title "Sweet Dreams"). BTW, working on Baywatch is something they have in common with Beverely Mitchell. They also played the recurring role of Lenny Junior on the short-lived Andrew Dice Clay comedy, "Bless This House."  In California you may see them on a Public Service Announcement that talks about the dangers of secondhand smoke (they play the part of the baby playing with blocks, who spells out, "asthma", "bronchitis", etc.). This is something they have in common with their T.V. dad, Andrew Keegan, who has been busy being the anti-smoking spokesperson and doing anti-smoking PSA's in the state of New York.

They have truly enjoyed working on 7th Heaven. They have a great time with Andrew Keegan, who is always playing with them and entertaining them in between takes. In fact the entire cast and crew is great in that regard. They are very much at home with everyone.  Their favorite things to do when they're not working include playing basketball, eating all the great food on the set, and pretending to 'drive' the forklift that sits on the lot.

Working on the show usually goes very smoothly.  They listen to the dialogue coach (also Mackenzie's acting coach) and follow directions well. The most challenging scene they've had to do so far was for the episode, "Nothing Endures but Change." Dylan was used for the scene where Mary finds Billy covered in chocolate syrup. Dylan (who is actually the more daring of the twins) was very adamant about not having chocolate poured on him, so they got him OUT of his clothes first, put the chocolate on the clothes, and had him get back into them. Then it was time to put chocolate on his face - which he didn't want at all! Luckily his big sister, who often helps on the set, let them put chocolate on HER. After that he was more agreeable and did the scene like a trooper. In fact that was the boys' favorite scene to watch come air time!

We're really fortunate to have the opportunity to work on 7th Heaven. Everyone is wonderful on that show - and I'm not just saying that. Pretty lucky for boys born on a Friday the 13th!
