Annie and Lucy work hard to install a new bathroom while Eric tries to find the money for both that project and a new car for the family after Mary totalled the car. Things get bad when the church thinks the Camden's are more wealthy than they are and reject the annual raise he usually gets. Ruthie jumps in to try and convince them that they are mistaken and the family really needs the raise. While working at the hospital, Matt gets some career advice from an unlikely source and Simon humors a classmate who has eyes for him.
